Deck Wash Recommended Care & Maintenance: Update

A small amount of lubricant (such as petroleum jelly) on the deck wash connector's o-ring and groove section will facilitate engaging and disengaging. Once the connector wears in from use, lubricant should not be necessary.

Engaging and disengaging the connector from the main body of the deck wash is easy when the ball-shaped protrusions on the inside of the deck wash unit line up with the connectors grooves. Our latest connectors have an arrow on the handle to help you line up the grooves properly when engaging. Simply line up an arrow with the NFM logo printed on the deck wash’s face plate and twist clockwise. DO NOT PUSH. Disengage by pushing in slightly and twisting counter-clockwise.
